Sale Date
The eighth annual Select Yearling Sale will be held Saturday, October 11, 2008. Entries for this year's sale are currently being accepted. A mixed sale will be conducted again this year, slated for Friday, October 10, 2008.
Location
This year's sale will once again take place at the Indiana State Fairgrounds' Champions Pavilion, 1202 East 38th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46205-2869. For a map and directions, click here.
Consignors
Entries for both the yearling and mixed sales are currently being accepted. If you would like to enter your yearling, racehorse or broodmare contact sale manager Tim Konkle at (765) 759-9900.
Cataloging
A cataloging fee of $250.00 will be assessed to each yearling, of which a $50.00 inspection fee is non-refundable. All yearlings will be videotaped by the sale company.
Commission
Commission will be set at six (6) percent. The minimum commission is $200.00 per yearling. No Sales: The no sale fee is the greater of six (6) percent commission on the final bid taken by the auctioneer or $200.00.
